MUSEUM OF RURAL CIVILIZATION AND CRAFTS OF THE ENZA RIVER VALLEY
Copellini, 13 - Villa Aiola
Montecchio Emilia
The museum was set up in 1977 and gathers together objects and work tools from the rural world, particularly those connected with the production of Parmigiano-Reggiano (Parmesan) cheese. Near the museum, you can visit two historical dairies used for cheese production. One dates back to the 18th-century and has an open wood fire; the other is more recent and is operated by steam.
